Its 2016 and MJFF Foundation is back again with Maker Fest 2016 to pitch new innovations and innovators pitch their ideas and their implementations under a single dome.
About Maker Fest:
Maker Fest is the Indian version of Maker Faire facilitated crosswise over America, Europe, Africa and Japan, among others. Maker Faire, which propelled in California, USA in 2006, now has several thousands participants twice per year crosswise over California and New York. It is the amalgamation of celebrations commending the inventors and a show with every one of the corners for creators and exhibits and workshops for participants. Makers, specialists and specialist the nation over are welcome to show their contemporary implementation of thoughts utilizing the inconceivable sea of science and innovation.
This festival not only helps showcase new ideas and inventions but also carry them all through the markets to gain an optimum ROI for the efforts made by the team. This festival not only brings makers together but also enchants the audiences coming from varied culture including a high-school teacher, a Doctorate, an engineering professor, a medical student, doctors, students and even critics. Thus, it becomes a learning experience for all the makers in order to draw a perfect trajectory for their innovations. Maker Fest ensures that no invention is stashed away or is turned-a-blind-eye in between all the buzz-fuzz. Amidst all the pomp-show the agenda of “Ideate, build and share” will be successfully executed.
Our vision is to catalyze innovation and entrepreneurship in India at the grassroots level. I’ve attended the California Maker Faire with my children for many years so I’ve seen the impact it can have. Maker Faires are filled with people like you and me who are just making things at home and when they get the chance to share their projects and find collaborators, great new products and companies emerge. We hope this will be the first of many events, and that Maker Fest will spread across India to showcase makers, tinkerers, and do-ers of every stripe.
