Is this question so tough to answer? Or are you able to pick any question out of it and answer to that.
Well, this is very easy to answer but right now you are confused after asking your own-self because you haven’t analyzed this out of your busy life. Isn’t it?
Yesterday my friend shared this beautiful quote to me:
You don’t need anyone’s affection or approval in order to be good enough. When someone rejects or abandons or judges you, it isn’t actually about you. It’s about them and their own insecurities, limitations, and needs, and you don’t have to internalize that. Your worth isn’t contingent upon other people’s acceptance of you — it’s something inherent. You exist, and therefore, you matter. You’re allowed to voice your thoughts and feelings. You’re allowed to assert your needs and take up space. You’re allowed to hold onto the truth that who you are is exactly enough. And you’re allowed to remove anyone from your life who makes you feel otherwise.
I re-read this quote for about I can say 10 times to get better and better idea of what this quote want to deliver. The magical part is that the more I tried to go deep within, the denser it became and more meaningful it became. We always have an inbuilt psychology that “What will others think?” or rather “Why did he/she thought about this matter in this way or that way?”. I mean why do you care? If you are good than yes you are good. When you know it that whatever you are doing is correct and are satisfied with the same than what do you wait for? It is actually more than enough when you are happy, because when you are happy rest of the things are going to fall on the right place.
If someone is not responding you or not acknowledging you for your good than its perfectly alright. I mean its not always important to know what others (everyone) think about you. If sometimes people are not able to see the good in you than there is something wrong in them, not in you. You are the only one and a unique persona. You exist and therefore you matter, no matter if not for everyone.
There are thousands of people living in between us at the cost of their dreams and passions, isn’t it true? How ironical it is that we in the race of this busy and fast growing world are left out with nothing else but frustration and tension. We chase more of the things which are emphasized by people rather than our own-selves. We hardly listen to ourselves and on the contrary we apply each and everything what others say. Why is that? Don’t you have a mind to think? Don’t you have hands to act? Don’t you have guts to face? Ofcourse you do have them but you are scared by a simple and stupid interrogation of “What others may think?”. Oh common, no two people in the world are same like fingerprints, no two minds can ever think in the same direction. So never expect cent percent synchronization apart from your own-self. I know you might be thinking that “Why are we so close and synchronized to our families and friends then? Why do we expect from them?”. I have already answered the same in the above mentioned lines that no one can synchronize cent percent to other person. May be you are synchronized for about 90% of time with your near and dear one or maybe you are synchronized with others for about 4-5%. Here figures hardly matter. You might be worthless for some, but also you might be the priceless for another one.
Every person is associated with other person by a multiple of integer number with a term called synchronization, synchronization of thoughts.
Association = n x S where, n is an integer number and S = Synchronization.
You have the freedom to chase whichever passion you want to with the space having n number of dimensions associated with it. Our life is not confined with only a 3 dimensional space but its much more beyond that. Just because someone comes to you and say “Okay, now you must start earning or start stabilizing” doesn’t in any sense mean that you are supposed to do that at the cost of your passions or dreams. Actually its your mistake that you misinterpret the things. When you do what you really want to then that automatically becomes a pathway to discover your own-self, ultimately leading you to success. You may take any successful person in this world, any one and ask him a single question that why are they at such a great position and only a single answer will pop out with a smile that “I chased my passions.”
If you, at the end of day are happy doing your work than you are actually living, you’re actually defining the purpose of your life, you’re actually doing what you always wanted to and you’ll always want to in future. That is the beauty of your life which you have created on your own. Remember you are the only creator of your life. You are the only Michael-Angelo of your own life to sculpt that DAVID. How can you sculpt your DAVID with somebody else’s vision?
So, start chasing your dreams rather than others. Start living, instead of breathing.
