Television on-screen character Sanjit Bedi, who was acclaimed for playing Dr Omi in mainstream TV show ‘Sanjivani’, passed away on June 23.
The youthful on-screen character was experiencing a brain disease and had been in coma for some time.
Sanjit’s cremation was held at 11am today (June 24) at the Chandanwadi crematorium, Mumbai. He is made due by his wife.
Aside from ‘Sanjivani’, Sanjit had showed up in different shows like ‘Jaane Kya Baat Huyi’, ‘Thodi Si Zameen Thoda Sa Aasman’, ‘Kya Hoga Nimmo Ka’ and ‘Kasautii Zindagii Kay’ among others.
Sanjit Bedi’s demise has come as a stun for his fellow friends from the television industry. Performing artists like Hiten Tejwani, Karnvir Bohra and Kamya Punjabi among others took to Twitter to express their distress over the demise.
